Harvest
All the grapes for the Ridgepoint Wines 2004 Dry Riesling were harvested
from our escarpment estate vineyards on Cherry Avenue above Vineland (Niagara
Region, Ontario). Winemaking
The estate-grown grapes were hand harvested and gently pressed.
The clear juice obtained by settling, fermented up to four weeks when
it stopped at the perfect sweetness. With high quality grapes
and special winemaking methods this wine will age very well for more
than a decade.

Winemaker's notes The aroma is intense with
hints of orange blossom. This wine is not for the faint of
heart. The complexity is amazing. Imagine a bowl of ripe
tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango with northern fruits such
as peach, apple and apricot. Allow these fruits to marry
overnight in the fridge. The next day when you open the bowl and
enjoy the aromas you will have an idea of what this wine offers.
This wine is full bodied with a creamy texture and finishes with a
dry, ripe acid. Food pairings
Due to its complexity it is versatile with a wide range of foods. Try
with Lobster tails dipped in butter, shellfish, or roast turkey.
