Harvest
All the grapes for the Ridgepoint Wines 2004 Vidal were hand-harvested from
our escarpment estate vineyards on Cherry Avenue above Vineland (Niagara
Region, Ontario). Winemaking
- currently being updated
We have only a few Vidal vines, intended mostly for Icewine or late-harvest
sweet wine production. However, Vidal can happily be made as an uncomplicated,
bright and cheerful table wine ... our customers love it. The grapes for the Ridgepoint Wines 2004 Vidal were crushed
and destemmed, cold-settled, and fermented cool in stainless steel to
retain clean bright flavours and aromas. Analysis

Winemaker's notes
The initial toffee, caramel and marzipan aromas follow through with
yellow plum, grapefruit and apple. The wine finishes with a
slight, lingering sweetness.
Food pairings
This is a classic sipping wine. Enjoy with grilled seafood of pasta
with a light cream based sauce. It is versatile and can pair very well
with your favorite cheesecake.
